We have some exciting changes and technology updates that I look forward to sharing with you during the early part of 2023, not least, the launch of a new upgraded App.
Our project with Teleswallowing Limited (Dr Liz Boaden and Veronica Southern) to help reduce NHS dysphagia waiting lists has been a real success.
We managed to significantly reduce waiting lists by rolling out digital dysphagia training and remote SLT assessments, across the Blackpool region. Both the NHS and our partners were really pleased with the outcome.
Feedback from care staff on the Teleswallowing dysphagia training was excellent, with a significant increase in staff confidence and knowledge.
